Job Description
Friesen’s Inc. is seeking a reliable Metal Finisher to operate and monitor our ARKU deburring machine, and ensure stainless steel parts meet our high-quality standards. This role involves loading parts, inspecting imperfections, and maintaining machine performance in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must pay strong attention to detail, have the ability to multitask, and be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods. Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor the ARKU deburring machine to remove burrs and sharp edges from stainless steel parts.
Learn and follow proper machine settings and parameters based on material and part type to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, or imperfections and ensure quality standards are met.
Load and carry parts into the deburring machine for processing.
Maintain and adjust the deburring machine as necessary for consistent performance.
Work closely with team members to ensure production timelines are met.
Sort parts and place them in the proper location for easy access and further processing.
Follow Friesen’s safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Skills & Qualifications
Ability to follow directions and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Ability to lift, carry, and move objects as required.
Comfortable standing and working for extended periods while operating machinery.
Strong organizational skills to efficiently sort, store, and track parts.
Willingness to cross-train and support other departments as needed.
High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
