Sr. Specialist, Application Developer

Overview In this role, you will manage and optimize PLM solutions (Oracle Agile PLM and PTC Windchill) to ensure high availability and performance. You’ll work with cross-functional IT teams to install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot PLM environments, while securing data and maintaining backups. You’ll document configurations, support agile PLM development activities, and coordinate outages and testing to deliver reliable business capabilities. This position offers hands-on architecture and operations work with a security-conscious, collaborative team. ResponsibilitiesMaintain PLM environments (production and non-production) including upgradesInstall, configure, and upgrade Oracle Agile PLM and PTC WindchillLinux system administration and Web/Application Server managementDatabase management (Oracle and SQL Server)Security implementation and data integrity/backup proceduresTroubleshoot and resolve PLM-related issues; analyze logs and performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams and document configurationsCoordinate PLM testing, outages, and project tasks using agile methodologies Key requirementsBachelor’s Degree or Graduate Degree with 4+ years experience; or 10+ years experience in lieu of a degreeActive TS/SCI with poly clearanceCompTIA Security+ certification6+ years related experience with PLM systems; 4+ years if graduate degreeTravel ~10%Proficiency in Linux CLI and system administrationExperience with Oracle Agile PLM and PTC Windchill (installation, configuration, upgrade, user management)Effective communicationStrong problem-solvingCross-functional collaborationLinux system administrationWeb/Application Server management (Tomcat, WebLogic)Oracle Agile PLM and PTC Windchill administration
