Bistro Food Runner

We are looking for food runners to join the team at one of Lancaster's top dining destinations, Bistro 2two2. Our restaurant features a diverse menu including sandwiches, burgers, signature entrées, and pizza prepared in an open-flame pizza oven, along with an extensive bar. We are hiring part-time team members who are passionate about delivering outstanding service to our guests. Shifts typically begin at 4 PM and run until business slows, usually between 9 PM and 10 PM.Responsibilities:Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders from the kitchen to guests, enhancing their dining experience.Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain a seamless flow of service, ensuring guest satisfaction.Assist in setting up and clearing tables, keeping the dining area clean and organized for a welcoming atmosphere.Communicate effectively with team members to address any guest needs or special requests promptly.Monitor food presentation and quality, ensuring each dish meets our high standards before reaching the table.Support the team by restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness in the service areas.Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, contributing to a positive dining experience and building rapport.Qualifications:ESSENTIAL SKILLS:Excellent customer service skillsGreat conversational skillsStrong teamwork skillsAbility to speak English fluentlyEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:• Preferred at least 1 year of restaurant bussing or food running experiencePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds• Ability to stand and walk for an extended period of timeAbout Company:The Eden Resort & Suites offers a collection of unique and upscale guest rooms and suites, unsurpassed on-site recreational facilities, and an exceptional staff ready to meet guests' needs.
