Job Title: Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) – Injury Prevention SpecialistCompany: Capitol Medical Service, LLCLocation: Austin, TX (multiple project sites)Compensation: $32–$40 per hour ($66,560 – $83,200 annually) based on experience and qualificationsSchedule and Benefits: Full-Time (40 hours/week)cell phone and mileage stipendmedical insurance reimbursementPTOPosition OverviewCapitol Medical Service, LLC is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to support an injury prevention program for industrial “occupational athletes” within an industrial utility environment. This role focuses on injury trend analysis, early intervention, and developing workgroup-specific training and conditioning programs to reduce musculoskeletal injuries and improve workforce performance.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze injury and workers’ compensation data to identify trendsDevelop and implement targeted injury prevention programs for specific workgroupsLead early intervention workshops and small group training sessionsProvide on-site coaching and education on body mechanics and injury preventionSupport return-to-work and work hardening initiativesConduct functional capacity-style assessments and provide conditioning recommendationsCollaborate with safety and occupational health teams to prioritize interventionsTrack engagement and deliver weekly and monthly reportingQualificationsCertified Athletic Trainer (ATC), BOC certifiedTexas licensure (or eligible)Current CPR/AED certificationExperience with injury prevention, strength and conditioning, or program developmentStrong communication and public speaking skillsExperience with data analysis or injury trend tracking preferredWork EnvironmentMultiple field locations within an industrial/utility settingCombination of fieldwork, training sessions, and program developmentKey Focus AreasInjury prevention and early interventionStrength and conditioning for industrial workersData-driven program developmentWorkforce education and performance support
