Job Details Weekly Estimated Pay: $1800 - $1890 Location: Jackson, TN 38301 (Jackson, Tennessee) — travel nursing jobs, nursing jobs in Jackson TN Healthcare Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) — LTAC RN, critical care nurse Shift: 12-hour Nights (3 shifts per week) Hours per Week: 36 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nurse Start Date: ASAP Job Requirements (Qualifications) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (valid in assignment state) BLS Certification (required prior to first shift) ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift) Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience; 2 years preferred Critical care experience required — experience in LTAC, step-down, or ICU preferred Responsibilities — LTAC Registered Nurse (RN) Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission for LTAC patients Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in the medical record Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and initiate discharge planning from admission Educate patients and families regarding healthcare needs and discharge planning Communicate changes in patient status to the care team to ensure continuity and patient safety Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing personnel and support staff Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital policies and safety procedures Contribute positively to unit team building and maintain a supportive work environment Identify and pursue professional growth opportunities relevant to LTAC and critical care nursing Why Jackson, TN?
