Childwatch (Child Care)

We’re hiring energetic, reliable, and fun-loving Childwatch Team Members to join our Burn Boot Camp Wake Forest family!At Burn Boot Camp, we empower women and families to maximize their full potential. Childwatch is a key part of that mission, giving parents 45 minutes to focus on themselves while knowing their little ones are safe, happy, and cared for.What You’ll DoAs part of our Member Experience, you’ll bring the same energy and care to our youngest members that we bring to camp each day.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesGreet families with energy, eye contact, names, and a smile-every time.Monitor room access by properly documenting children upon arrival. (Put an emphasis on learning children’s names)Communicate the proper use of all toys and rules to the children.Always actively supervising the children.Engage and interact with the children.Organize and participate in age-appropriate activities including circle time, games, crafts, and playtime.Ability to keep children entertained while monitoring a variety of age groups.After each camp, sanitize and put anything used away in a neat and organized manner.Help solve problems when minor incidents and member complaints occur and notify appropriate management personnel. Complete incident report accurately and thoroughly as applicable.Establish and maintain accurate communication with all children, parents, and supervisor.Maintain a positive attitude and act in a professional manner when interacting with members, children, and other staff at all times.Report member and guest comments, suggestions, complaints, concerns, and problems to supervisor in a timely manner.Treat all children & parents with love and respect.Be on time, exemplify caring, honesty, respect, & responsibility for all assigned shifts.Help with changeover between camps (vacuum, disinfect equipment, tidy bathrooms, etc.)Miscellaneous tasks around gym as needed.Complete daily cleaning checklist.What We’re Looking ForPrevious childcare experience in a gym, daycare, or school setting preferred.Enthusiastic, patient, and attentive personality.Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Must be 18 years or older, graduated from high school, and able to pass a background checkAvailability for 2-3 weekday mornings and Saturday rotation (1-2/month)This is not a seasonal position; it is year roundShift Times:Monday through Friday - 8:00a to 11:00a and 11:30 to 1:00pSaturday - 8:00a to 11:00a (typically 1 per month)Why Join Burn Boot Camp Wake Forest?Inclusive, community-driven environment.Discounted membership (after 30 days).Flexible schedulingOpportunities for growth and advancementBe part of a brand that’s changing lives through fitness, confidence, and community.Ready to Make an Impact?Please submit your application.
