Typically works on one project at a time (typically creating new designs that are very close to reference designs) and is working under the direction of a Mechanical Designer or Project Engineer.Position ResponsibilitiesTakes initiative to meet challenging project timelines and budgets including hours and materialsProvides layouts and details to productionParticipates with compiling electronic documentation for Service manualsEnsures that product, as designed is in conformance with Company quote and customer purchase orderAssists with complex system start-up, de-bug and final equipment maturationUpdates design package to reflect "as shipped" configuration of any critical itemProvides technical assistance for Estimating, Sales, Production and ServiceEnsures required ISO documentation is completedAssists with field installationTypically works on multiple tasks or one complex design, creating new designs that are very close to reference designsAssumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects in support of the Company's 2025 StrategyEssential Skills and ExperienceTechnical degree in Engineering desiredCAD (3D modeling)3+ years of experience in manufacturing and design of industrial automated equipmentIndustrial hydraulic and pneumatic experience desiredExperience with Industrial Automation 3D Solid ModelingComputer proficiency including spreadsheet, MS Word, Excel & Power PointCommitment to company valuesEnvironmental, Health & Safety (EH&S)Understand the Company's EHS Policy and how it relates to this jobBe aware of OSHA & EPA laws and regulations as well as the Company's Plant Rules and Regulations that pertain to this jobWork in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and observe all company EHS proceduresKnow that the company EHS procedures are located on the ISO driveImmediately notify the Supervisor if there is any safety hazard, any equipment not operating correctly, or if there are any questions regarding EHS proceduresAttend required EHS trainingReporting to this position: No direct reportsLincoln Electric is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
