Data Engineer - Northwestern Mutual

Data EngineerAs a Data Engineer, you are responsible for developing information architecture and data migration strategies. You'll also design database models, implement ETL processes, and support master data management systems. Collaborating with customers, you'll translate their data needs into data warehousing requirements and resolve data issues. You'll enhance data quality, establish data access management, and design a unified customer view. Maintaining technical documentation and providing training on business intelligence tools are important aspects. You'll oversee report production and perform other requested duties.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in a related field5+ years of data engineering and reporting experienceExpertise with data quality tools for data profiling, cleansing and standardization preferred.Experience working with cloud environments (AWS)Must have a solid understanding of logical database design principles.Understand the methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data between technology systems and business functions/operations.Strong analytical and attention to detail skills.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members.Plus, for experience working with cloud data solutions (Snowflake, Redshift BigQuery)
