This role involves caring for patients across antepartum, labor, and delivery phases, with the ability to support postpartum care as needed.Unit Details:4 antepartum rooms9 labor/high-risk rooms3 triage roomsNo on-call requirementFloating to postpartum may be required based on staffing needsKey Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive care for laboring patients, including high-risk pregnanciesPerform continuous fetal heart monitoring and interpret resultsAssist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sectionsSupport antepartum and triage assessmentsDeliver postpartum couplet care (mother and newborn) when neededAssist in newborn care during deliveryRequirements:Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experienceFirst-time travelers not acceptedActive state RN license required at time of submissionRequired Certifications:AWHONN Advanced (preferred) or NCC EFMACLS (AHA)BLS (AHA)NRPFetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)Ability to work every other weekendWillingness to float to postpartum unit as needed
