Used Car Technician

Peltier Subaru is looking for a dependable, experienced Used Car Technician to join our service team. This position is focused on inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing pre-owned vehicles so they are safe, reliable, and ready for sale.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and comfortable working on multiple makes and models. Subaru experience is a plus, but not required.Responsibilities Perform used vehicle inspections and safety checks Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, brake, suspension, and HVAC concerns Complete repairs needed for used car reconditioning Perform maintenance services including oil changes, filters, fluids, brakes, tires, batteries, alignments, and tune-ups Identify needed repairs clearly and accurately Communicate findings to service advisors, used car managers, and dispatch Document all work performed on repair orders Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow dealership and manufacturer repair procedures Help ensure vehicles are frontline-ready in a timely mannerQualifications Previous automotive technician experience preferred Ability to diagnose and repair multiple vehicle brands Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Must have own tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team ASE certifications are a plus Subaru or dealership experience is a plusWhat We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Steady workflow Full-time schedule Supportive service team and management Opportunities for training and advancement Dealership environment with room to growIdeal CandidateYou are a technician who takes pride in doing the job right the first time.
