Electrical Engineer
Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) is seeking an Electrical Engineer.The Electrical Engineer shall provide entry-level engineering support for Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) and CBM+ programs supporting U.S. Navy surface ship Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems. This role supports Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) engineering teams with shipboard electrical system assessments, sensor integration, data analysis, testing, and technical documentation in support of CBM system installation and sustainmentAbout GreenXTGreenXT is comprised of technical and business leaders. The idea that our hard work can help make their jobs easier, assist them to defend our nation, and can help ensure they return home safely to their loved ones motivates us every day, and we hope that you join us on that mission!Job Responsibilities: Electrical & Systems Engineering SupportSupport CBM and CBM+ system integration for shipboard electrical and electronic systemsAssist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of sensors, transmitters, data acquisition hardware, and interfacesSupport evaluation of electrical system performance, data quality, and signal integrityAssist senior engineers with investigations of electrical system deficiencies and development of corrective actionsShipboard & Waterfront SupportParticipate in ship visits to support system assessments, data validation, testing, and installation activitiesAssist with pre- and post-installation ship checks to verify configuration accuracySupport shipboard integration testing, verification, and validation activitiesDocumentation & ConfigurationAssist in development and review of technical documentation including wiring diagrams, installation drawings, redlines, and test reportsSupport configuration management activities and documentation of as-built electrical configurationsMaintain engineering records and contribute to technical and trip reportsTest & Data SupportAssist in development and execution of test procedures and test plansSupport data collection, test execution, and documentation of test resultsAssist with troubleshooting hardware, cabling, grounding, and network connectivity issuesProgram & Team SupportParticipate in technical meetings and working groupsTrack assigned action items and support status reportingCollaborate with mechanical, electrical, systems, and software engineering team membersRequired Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related disciplineActive DoD Secret Level Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain this clearance upon position acceptance) is required for this position1–2 years of relevant engineering experience (internships and co-ops acceptable)Fundamental understanding of mechanical systems and equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsAbility to lift and carry equipment up to 30 lbsJob BenefitsCompetitive SalaryPaid Time Off (PTO)11 Paid Holidays401(k) with MatchingMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceLife and Disability Insurance
