WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Step-Down RN for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Boston, MA. This role is ideal for a nurse who excels in high-acuity environments, uses strong critical-thinking skills, and delivers patient-centered care grounded in evidence-based practice. Compensation : $53.06 - $58.06 Job ID : 45138 Job Function: Shift: 36 hrs | 3x12 Nights 7p-7:30a | EOW/EOH. Deliver high-quality patient care using the principles of Relationship-Centered Care , integrating theory, research, and evidence-based practice. Assess and evaluate patient needs while applying strong critical-thinking skills to guide clinical decision-making. Integrate comprehensive assessment and intervention skills into all aspects of nursing care. Prioritize patient care activities, including teaching, rounding, coaching, discharge planning, and appropriate delegation . Educate patients and caregivers about the plan of care, transitions of care, health promotion, and disease prevention- anticipating needs and readiness to learn.
