To support our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a detail‐oriented Quality Inspector to join our team.2nd Shift - Mon-Friday 3:00PM-11:30PM - Needs to be open to working Saturday's and Sundays as needed.Position SummaryThe Quality Inspector ensures the accuracy, consistency, and traceability of manufactured products by performing detailed inspections, documenting results, and communicating findings to production and engineering teams. Using advanced coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and conventional inspection tools in line with customer drawings and specifications, this role plays a key part in maintaining high‐quality standards and supporting continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate is organized, safety‐conscious, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members across departments.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram and operate CMM using PC‐DMIS software to perform dimensional inspections on manufactured parts. Accurately identify product deviations and communicate necessary information to production and engineering to support corrective actions. Generate first‐article and final inspection documentation required for customer product submissions and quality records. Perform in‐process inspections on various types of manufactured products using precision hand tools and inspection equipment. Make practical adjustments to improve product condition and support process optimization across multiple manufacturing operations. Interpret complex engineered drawings and fully apply GD&T standards with intermediate to advanced blueprint‐reading skills. Set up and operate common CMM machines, following standard procedures and maintenance guidelines. Demonstrate proficiency in the use of precision hand tools, including micrometers, calipers, height gages, and related measuring instruments. Maintain strong mathematical and analytical skills to support inspection calculations and data analysis. Adhere to all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company safety policies while logging job time and daily activities accurately. Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives. Complete other duties and special projects as assigned by management. Education & Required KnowledgeHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED). Demonstrated experience with PC‐DMIS software; CMM programming and operation experience is required. Experience & Competencies2+ years of related work experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection environment preferred. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Self‐motivated and capable of performing duties with minimal supervision. Strong team orientation and ability to work well in a collaborative, fast‐paced environment. Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for documentation, communication, and reporting.
