Client Service Counselors
Client Service Counselors should have at least 2 years of experience in providing the services. They should also have an equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with training and experience in the field of Psychology, Sociology, and other fields related to behavioral sciences. They should also be certified by the state to provide services.
Here are some of their responsibilities:
Provide counseling services case management
Assess clients’ care needs and formulate a treatment plan
Help clients learn basic life skills like financial management
Keep track of clients’ progress and make a report about them
Provide crisis intervention
Help them find their potentials and get the training that they need to improve
Help clients to be connected to resources provided by the government.
