Job Description
Select various valve parts for assembly from production work order.
Load and unload assemblies from the furnace.
Inspect braze and weld joints for pin holes or weak welds/brazes.
Make necessary adjustments to machines.
Replacing Electrodes on welders.
Install and assemble seat, pin and pin carrier, pushrods using dial indicator.
Install and assemble assemblies, pistons and adaptors into body assemblies.
Install internal parts such as diaphragm, spider and buffer plate into power element assembly for heli-arc welding.
Load and unload valve final assembly into test equipment and run tests.
Painting and curing components or sub assemblies may be required.
Get and dispose of material to and from work position.
Clean equipment as required.
Flexing from one workstation into another is required for continuous through put.
Maintaining cycle counts (inventory) may be required.
Active participation in High Performance Team.
Active participation in lean events.
Follow Safety procedures and safe work practices
Follow 5S program
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Manufacturing experience and/or a combination of education and experience.
Ability to work as part of an effective, high functioning team
