The ideal candidate has strong expertise across front-end and back-end technologies, enjoys end-to-end ownership, and thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologiesBuild scalable, reusable UI components using ReactDevelop robust backend services and APIs using Java, Node.js, or similar technologiesDesign and integrate RESTful APIs and backend servicesWork closely with product managers, UX designers, and translate requirements into technical solutionsEnsure application performance, security, scalability, and reliabilityParticipate in architecture and design discussions; contribute to technical decisionsWrite clean, maintainable, well-tested code following best practicesReview code, mentor junior engineers, and uphold engineering standardsSupport production releases, troubleshooting, and on-call rotations as neededSkills: Required Qualifications5–8 years of experience in full-stack software developmentStrong experience with React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSSBackend experience with Java (Spring Boot) or Node.jsStrong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systemsExperience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, etc.)Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and security best practicesExperience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testingSolid understanding of cloud-native application developmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with TypeScript AND JAVAExposure to Next.js or modern frontend frameworksExperience with AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, S3)Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, SNS/SQS)Background in retail, POS, or enterprise systemsEducation: Bachelors or equivalent experience
