Database Administrator (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Azure SQL, Mongo DB)

Database AdministratorThe candidate in this position will be responsible for database administration of various database platforms including DB2 for z/OS, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, and MongoDB. The candidate will be the lead database administrator for Oracle databases. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of database objects to meet system(s) requirements. The candidate must be able to understand and demonstrate the ability to develop database and warehousing design across multiple platforms and computing environments. The candidate must be able to work as part of a team to assist in developing and supporting an overall data architecture that supports the Department’s needs and meets administrative rules and other applicable standards.Job duties include:Daily operational and database administration activitiesPlan, design, implement, support for database structuresConduct database performance monitoring and tuningDevelop and maintain database administration procedures and documentationPerform SQL Code reviewsAssist with training/mentoring other technical staffPerform other database or infrastructure activities as requestedRequired experience includes:Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or experience to correspond to the required years.
