Description:SUMMARYThe Construction Site Representative is responsible for supporting and monitoring daily construction activities to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved plans and project requirements. This role requires strong knowledge of construction safety practices, including working with electrical hazards, fall protection, elevated structures, and active construction environments with heavy equipment and traffic. The individual will coordinate closely with contractors, tenants, and third-party inspectors while maintaining accurate project documentation, tracking RFIs and submittals, and contributing to progress reporting. This position also requires the ability to navigate scaffolding and ladder systems in outdoor conditions and actively participate in safety meetings, site coordination, and project closeout activities. RESPONSIBILITIESParticipate in daily safety tailboardsCoordination of daily traffic with Tenants trucking servicesCoordinating scrap metal bins with contractorEnsure contractor is adhering to their approved safety planStandard CSR Duties & Deliverables: a. Daily progress report, including pictures b. Coordinating 3rd party inspection services c. Daily time sheets validated (only if needed) d. Participation of weekly construction progress reports e. Management of Request for Information (RFI),using an established excel spreadsheet f. Management of Material Submittals using an established excel spreadsheet g. Management of Contractors Two (2) sets of as-builts at completion of work h. Punch list one (1) week prior to completion of work I. Assist in development of Final Construction Report (if required)WORKING CONDITIONS This position is primarily performed on active construction sites, with a schedule determined by the project and supervisor (typically five eight-hour days, subject to change). The role requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions and high-traffic environments with active trucking and heavy equipment. The employee must be able to walk, climb, and navigate uneven terrain, scaffolding, and cage ladders, and work at elevated heights while adhering to strict safety protocols, including fall protection and awareness of electrical and rigging hazards. The position also requires the ability to observe and assess site conditions, document progress through reports and photos, and communicate effectively with contractors and stakeholders, with occasional use of computers for reporting, though the majority of work is performed in the field.
