This is a hands-on, high-visibility role supporting commercial, operational, and strategic initiatives across the business.This position is ideal for an agile attorney who enjoys partnering closely with leadership and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.The RoleReporting to senior leadership, this attorney will act as the company’s go-to legal resource in the U.S., with a strong emphasis on commercial agreements alongside broader corporate responsibilities. The role offers the opportunity to own and evolve the company’s commercial contracting function while contributing to governance, compliance, and operational support.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements including MSAs, SOWs, RSAs, licensing, collaboration, and data-use agreements Partner closely with Sales, Business Development, Finance, Product, and Scientific teams Handle vendor contracts, NDAs, consulting agreements, and general corporate matters Support corporate governance, insurance renewals, and equity-related matters Collaborate with external IP counsel and ensure strong IP and data-rights protections in commercial agreements Advise on data privacy, HIPAA-related considerations, and cross-border data issues Manage outside counsel and support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory inquiries as needed QualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school; active bar license (Massachusetts strongly preferred) 3–7 years of relevant experience, with meaningful in-house exposure strongly preferred Background in commercial contracting within life sciences, biotech, pharma, med device, digital health, or technology environments Working knowledge of IP and data-rights concepts Strong business judgment, relationship-building skills, and ability to work cross-functionally Inquiries are confidential.
