Oracle Pl/Sql DeveloperLocation: Chicago, IL (Onsite from day 1) Long Term Contract – C2C & W2Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database development, performance tuning, and complex query optimization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain robust PL/SQL solutions that meet business needs.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.6- years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS architecture and SQL performance tuning.Proficiency in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages.Familiarity with Oracle tools like SQL*Plus, TOAD, SQL Developer, etc.Experience with data analysis, data migration, and batch processing.Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Oracle 12c or later versions.Knowledge of ETL tools and integration processes.Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting.Exposure to version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN).Understanding of REST APIs and JSON/XML data handling.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.Optimize existing SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance improvements.Develop and maintain database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and constraints.Work closely with application developers, business analysts, and QA to ensure high-performance and reliable database interactions.Participate in database design and data modeling efforts.Create and maintain technical documentation.Debug and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks and data-related errors.Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
