Provide a warm, safe, and caring environment for students to grow, learn and explore.Effectively supervise, interact and relate to children in a developmentally appropriate manner.Implement developmentally appropriate and challenging educational curriculumDevelop lesson plans based on hands-on learningProvide pedagogical support to familiesSupervise and evaluate assistant teachers, student teachers, substitutes and volunteers who work in the classrooms.Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality for all mattersMinimum Qualifications:BA in Early Childhood/ MS in Education is preferredNew York State Certification in Early Childhood/Elementary EducationAbility to work cooperatively within a team environmentStrong communication skillsFluency in English required
