Eligible applicant(s) must be able to work safely in a critical deep foundation element environment while performing the duties of this position. This person(s) must be capable of producing quality work with attention to detail and completing the job "right the first time".Experience LevelSkilledPrimary Responsibilities and DutiesAble to complete accurate reports.Maintain site security during drilling operations.Operate drilling equipment on smooth to extremely rough conditions.Conduct thorough pre and post shift safety inspections of drilling equipment.Ability to perform work in a safe manner, while following best practices and in accordance with company policies.Perform other duties as required.QualificationsMay require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.Must possess strong working knowledge skills and abilities for position.Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.Proficient in the safe and efficient use of electrical, hand tools, power tools and layout tools as well as measurement toolsRequirements The person in this position needs to constantly move about a construction/industrial site, so should be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawlConstantly works in a construction environment and will be exposed to changing outdoor weather conditionsWork irregular hours, weekends, overtime and holidays as requiredMay be required to use ladders/mechanical platforms/manlifts/scaffold to access required equipment/work areas (may exceed 200 feet), so must be able to climb and maintain balance on formwork, steel formwork, stairs, ladders and scaffoldsMove and work in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven surfacesMust be able to complete tasks in a noisy and dusty environmentMay be required/able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds across construction/industrial siteMinimum of 5 years experience in drilling industryMust have experience in Augercast Piles with focus on foundation operationsMust have required toolsMay require U.S. Driver LicenseObserve and comply with all safety and project rules, perform other duties as requiredAbility to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testingEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.Few contractors can build what Kiewit builds, the way Kiewit builds it.
