Legal Services Manager

The Legal Services Manager is a member of SEI’s Legal & Compliance Department and provides legal services in support of SEI’s market units and corporate entities. The role supports legal matters related to the provision of accounting, administration, and distribution services to registered investment products, including mutual funds, exchange‑traded funds, closed‑end funds, and collective investment trusts as well as support for SEI’s corporate governance activities.This position operates under the direction of senior legal professionals and is responsible for managing defined legal workstreams, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and producing high-quality, reliable work product within a highly regulated environment.What you will do:Manage the preparation, coordination and administration of board of directors and committee meetings, including agendas, meeting materials, minutes, resolutions, and related communicationsEnsure compliance with applicable regulatory, legal and corporate governance requirementsMaintain official corporate and fund records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, including organizational documents, board and committee materials, financial reports, and written consentsDraft, review, and coordinate disclosure documents, organizational documents and related legal materialsAssist with regulatory examinations and respond to information requestsPrepare, review, and coordinate regulatory filings and reportsCoordinate the drafting and filing of registration statements and supplementsReview and negotiate agreements related to the distribution and servicing of funds offered by SEI clients on intermediary platformsSupport day‑to‑day legal matters related to SEI investment solutions and regulated subsidiaries, as neededCollaborate with Legal & Compliance colleagues, business partners, and external service providers to ensure timely, accurate and effective delivery of legal servicesJob Scope & Decision‑MakingIndependently manages routine and moderately complex matters in accordance with established proceduresIdentifies and escalates complex, high‑risk, or novel issues to senior legal staff as appropriateApplies sound judgment within defined policies, regulatory frameworks and supervisory guidanceDoes not hold final decision‑making authority with respect to legal positions or interpretationsWhat we need from you:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experienceExperience in legal services, compliance, or business managementStrong organizational, communication, and writing skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate work product in a regulated environmentWhat we would like from you:Experience in investment management, financial services, and/or corporate governanceExperience supporting registered investment products or regulated financial entitiesSEI’s competitive advantage:To help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of benefits including comprehensive care for your physical and mental well-being, a strong retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, a hybrid working environment for most roles, support for working parents and flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) so you can relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about.Benefits include healthcare (medical, dental, vision, prescription, wellness, EAP, FSA), life and disability insurance (premiums paid for base coverage), 401(k) match, education assistance, commuter benefits, up to 11 paid holidays/year, 21 days PTO/year pro-rated for new hires which increases over time, paid parental leave, back-up childcare arrangements, paid volunteer days, a discounted stock purchase plan, investment options, access to thriving employee networks and more.We are a technology and asset management company delivering on our promise of building brave futures (SM)—for our clients, our communities, and ourselves.
