OBX Lead HVAC Service Manager

Air-O-Smith Heating & Air Conditioning is a growing, veteran-owned HVAC company serving the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We’re looking for a Lead HVAC Service Technician or Manager with 5+ years of experience who takes pride in quality work, professionalism, and customer service. If you’re dependable, skilled, and want real earning potential with leadership growth, this role is for you. What You’ll Do Install, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow issues Clearly explain system conditions and options to homeowners Complete job notes, photos, and recommendations in Housecall Pro Participate in a rotating on-call schedule Mentor apprentices and junior techs as needed What We Offer $30–$45/hour OR salary (based on experience) Commission opportunities on repairs, equipment, and accessories Company vehicle + gas card Tool allowance & uniforms provided Health benefit stipend (if applicable) Paid holidays & PTO Clear leadership and advancement opportunities Requirements 5+ years of HVAC installation or service experience EPA 608 Certification Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Excellent customer communication and professionalism Ability to work independently and respond to emergency calls Schedule Monday–Friday Rotating on-call (every 4–5 weeks) Overtime available Ready to Talk?
