Artist Curation Operations Lead

Location: Cupertino, CA Onsite/HybridIntroductionClient Music is seeking a dynamic individual to drive the quality, accuracy, and scalability of the artist catalog data that powers various artist-related features. This is a contractor role with potential for full-time conversion.Required Skills & Qualifications5 years in operations, program management, or technical product roles with exposure to AI/ML-driven workflows.Experience translating operational or product problems into ML requirements.Exposure to LLM-based workflows or agentic automation.Experience collaborating with international stakeholders.Comfort querying data (SQL or similar).Experience evaluating model outputs and designing eval sets and quality metrics.Experience designing review/annotation tooling that surfaces AI inputs to human reviewers.Conceptual understanding of core analytics principles.Proven ability to produce executive-ready narratives and presentations.Track record of leading ambiguous initiatives with minimal direction.Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience in the music industry or with music metadata, catalogs, or artist-facing products.Familiarity with entity resolution/disambiguation problems.Experience managing vendor or outsourced review teams.Tableau or comparable BI tooling.A genuine passion for music and curiosity about the systems that power the modern music industry.Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead artist curation operations end-to-end and serve as the operational owner for vendor teams.Bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.Translate operational challenges into technical requirements.Break down ambiguous problems into well-scoped, prioritized workstreams.Evaluate technical proposals and model outputs.Design and iterate on manual review tooling.Identify opportunities to apply ML models and automation to artist curation problems.Communicate progress, tradeoffs, and recommendations to leadership.Partner cross-functionally to surface interdependencies and align priorities.Company Benefits & Culture Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.Potential for full-time conversion for the right candidate.Engagement with cutting-edge technology and music industry insights.For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
