Event Coordinator
Event CoordinatorWe are seeking an outstanding candidate to join our dynamic team in Washington, DC as an Event Coordinator. Location is near Union Station.Responsibilities Include:◦ Act as the point of contact among Partners, Principles, Clients, external Government Offices, and fundraisers◦ Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner◦ Manage calendars and schedule events◦ Collect, organize, process content and information as needed◦ Make lunch and dinner arrangements among clients and contacts◦ Keep up with office supplies and house needs, to include facility repairs◦ Assist Partners and Principles with their office supplies and technology needs◦ Operate printers, copiers, and other office equipment◦ Schedule, plan, stage and facilitate office fundraisers and receptions◦ Schedule, plan, and stage in person meetings and technology set up for hybrid conference calls◦ Walk up and down stairs with frequency and lift 10-20 pounds at a time◦ Maintain a working knowledge of ethical processes and proceduresRequirements and Skills:◦ Previous experience working as an Administrative Assistant or similar role◦ Capitol Hill experience a plus◦ Experience with Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive and SharePoint◦ Experience with virtual meeting platforms like Teams, Zoom, and WebEx◦ Experience with Apple products and associated applications◦ Experience with Canva◦ Excellent verbal and written communication skills◦ Discretion and confidentiality◦ Outstanding initiative, organizational and time management skills◦ Familiarity with office equipment and computer operation◦ High School diploma or equivalent◦ Undergraduate degree preferredPlease send resume with 3 references to contact@s-3group.com
