Art Teacher

Description St. Francis de Sales Parish School is seeking a creative, faith-filled, and student-centered Part-Time Art Teacher (50%) to join our school community for the upcoming school year. St. Francis de Sales Parish School is a Catholic elementary school committed to providing a Christ-centered education that nurtures the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and creative growth of every child. We are seeking an educator who will inspire students through the visual arts while fostering creativity, confidence, and an appreciation for beauty and self-expression. Position Overview The Part-Time Art Teacher will provide engaging art instruction for students in grades Preschool through 8th Grade. The ideal candidate will create a positive and welcoming classroom environment while integrating creativity, collaboration, and Catholic values into the curriculum. ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver developmentally appropriate art lessons for students in Preschool-8th GradeFoster creativity and artistic exploration through a variety of media and techniquesMaintain an organized, safe, and engaging art classroom environmentDisplay and celebrate student artwork throughout the school and communityCollaborate positively with faculty, staff, and familiesSupport the mission and values of Catholic educationParticipate in school events and activities as appropriate QualificationsBachelor's degree, preferably in Art Education or a related field, or currently working toward obtaining a bachelor's degreeWisconsin teaching license (or ability to obtain licensure) preferredExperience working with elementary and middle school students preferredStrong classroom management and communication skillsPracticing Catholic preferred, but all qualified candidates committed to supporting the Catholic mission are encouraged to apply For more information or questions about the position, please contact: St. Francis de Sales Parish School Attn: Principal David Wieters 130 W.
