Working Supervisor - Heavy Equipment Operator

Edison, NJFull-TimeWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Working Supervisor to lead and actively participate in heavy equipment operations. This position requires a hands-on leader who can supervise a crew while also operating equipment as needed. The ideal candidate will balance leadership responsibilities with field work to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate daily activities of heavy equipment operators and labor crewOperate heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, etc.) as neededLead by example by maintaining productivity and safety standards on-siteEnsure all work complies with company policies and safety regulationsPlan and assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and adjust as neededConduct equipment inspections and ensure proper maintenanceTrain and mentor crew members on safe and efficient operationsCommunicate effectively with management and team membersComplete daily reports and job documentationQualifications:3+ years of heavy equipment operating experiencePrevious supervisory or crew lead experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of job site safety and OSHA regulationsAbility to work both as a leader and a hands-on team memberGood communication and organizational skillsValid drivers license (CDL preferred if applicable)Physical Requirements:Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]Capable of climbing in and out of equipment regularlyBenefits:Competitive pay based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offPIb55802ee4fd4-26289-40422239
