About the Role We are seeking a motivated, people-focused Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support daily restaurant operations and help lead our team through an exciting period of growth and evolution. The AGM plays a critical role in supporting the General Manager, reinforcing culture, and ensuring consistency across shifts. What You’ll Do Support Leadership & Culture Partner with the General Manager to uphold a positive, respectful, and high-performing culture Lead by example on the floor, modeling hospitality and professionalism Support communication between management and hourly teams Help reinforce expectations, standards, and accountability Step into leadership coverage as needed to maintain smooth operations Operations & Guest Experience Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations Help ensure exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure Address guest concerns with care and professionalism Maintain standards for cleanliness, service, food quality, and safety Support compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol regulations Help identify facility or maintenance needs and communicate them promptly People Development & Team Support Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of team members Support coaching, feedback, and performance conversations Help develop future leaders through cross-training and mentorship Promote teamwork, accountability, and strong communication Help reinforce scheduling coverage and shift execution Operations, Financials & Accountability Support labor scheduling and shift coverage Assist with cash handling, deposits, and reconciliation Help review sales, labor, and cost performance Ensure completion of daily reports and checklists Support inventory tracking, ordering, and waste reduction Assist in monitoring comps, voids, and discounts Who You Are 2–4+ years of restaurant leadership or supervisory experience Ready to grow into a senior leadership or General Manager role Positive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset Strong communicator who builds trust with teams Organized and able to manage multiple priorities Passionate about hospitality and guest experience Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays Experience with POS systems (Toast, Aloha, or similar) Food safety and alcohol certifications (or ability to obtain) Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus Work Environment & Physical Requirements Fast-paced restaurant environment Standing and walking for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent bending, reaching, and movement Exposure to heat, humidity, and kitchen equipment Frequent communication with guests and team members Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off Paid training and leadership development Employee dining discounts Career growth and advancement opportunities Our Commitment We believe great hospitality starts with taking care of our people.
