Join us and be part of something extraordinary.We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Structured Lending Credit Advisory to join our Banking team. This role is located in New York, NY.In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:Perform in-depth credit analysis and provide strategic advisory recommendations using advanced financial modeling.Design tailored credit solutions aligned to clients' objectives and BNY's strategic pillars, supporting sustainable growth and sound risk management.Partner with cross-functional teams to embed credit advisory insights into broader banking strategies and strengthen client delivery.Monitor market trends and regulatory developments to maintain compliance and competitive positioning.Originate, negotiate, underwrite, close, and monitor large, complex, higher-risk Private Banking loans, ensuring adherence to BNY risk, control, and compliance policies and procedures and recommending changes as needed.Manage existing higher-risk, complex revenue accounts and client relationships.Provide credit advice and solutions to bankers, wealth managers, and clients.To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) preferred.Typically 5-10 years of experience.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively advise clients and collaborate with teams.Proven ability to develop strategic credit solutions and manage risk effectively.At BNY, our culture speaks for itself, check out the latest BNY news at:BNY NewsroomBNY LinkedInHere's a few of our recent awards:America's Most Innovative Companies, Fortune, 2025World's Most Admired Companies, Fortune 2025"Most Just Companies", Just Capital and CNBC, 2025Our Benefits and Rewards:BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay-for-performance philosophy. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $94,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
