Job Description:PURPOSE OF JOB: To perform CT procedures on inpatients, out patients and emergency room patients, utilizing clinical skills, knowledge and competencies of the CAT scan technologist position.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1 Maintains clinical competency in the CAT Scan Technologist position requirement.Provide patient care for all of our customers by performing CT procedures as prescribed by anordering provider. Compile and maintain patient records and schedulesCheck physician's order and verify what procedure will best help diagnosis the patient. Job Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Graduate of an accredited programCT Registered/CT registry eligibleAll registry eligible associates must become registered within six monthsExperience: One year experience in the CT field Prior experience with the helical scanner preferredOther Skills: Computer skillsOrganizational skillsInterpersonal skills (communication, good listening, negotiating)Personal growthCurrent BLS certification
