Sr. Embedded Software Engineer

Position: Sr. Software Engineer (Aerospace) Location: Rockford, IL Duration: Fulltime Skills: Matlab/ Simulink, MBD, Embedded Controls SW, DO-178B Client: The Raytheon Company was a major U.S. defense contractor and industrial corporation with manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics. Education & Experience: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology or Engineering. 3-5+ years of experience with software architectures and the C coding language is required. Proven experience in embedded software development/verification. Full life cycle development – planning, decomposition of system requirements to high level software requirements, low level requirements, architecture, code, verification, and certification. DO178 or similar industry standard is preferred. Experience with Model Based Development such as MathWorks. Experience with configuration, change and requirements management tools such as Polarion and SVN, IBM Rational Synergy Change and DOORS, DXL. Knowledge of Assembly, JAVA, ADA, Python, XML, Tcl/Tk languages Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to Relocate: Rockford, IL 61101: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
