HIRING SUPERINTENDENTS!!Job Title: Construction SuperintendentJob DescriptionThe Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing day-to-day on-site construction operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. This role manages field activities, coordinates subcontractors and trades, and serves as the primary on-site point of contact. The Superintendent works closely with project managers, clients, inspectors, and design teams to support successful execution from project start through closeout.ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary on-site representative for assigned construction projectsPlan, coordinate, and supervise daily construction activities, field operations, and site logisticsManage subcontractor sequencing, manpower, and productivity across all tradesMaintain a clean, orderly, and professional jobsiteEnforce all company, site-specific, and OSHA safety policies and proceduresConduct daily safety walks, toolbox talks, and coordination meetingsIdentify and address safety hazards or unsafe behaviors proactivelyMaintain required safety documentation, logs, and incident reportsCollaborate with the Project Manager to develop, update, and maintain project schedulesMonitor daily progress and identify potential schedule or cost impactsEnsure all work complies with drawings, specifications, building codes, and quality standardsPerform regular inspections of work in place and oversee quality control and punch-list activitiesLead subcontractor coordination meetings and daily planning sessionsCommunicate with owners, inspectors, and design professionals to support inspections, approvals, and milestonesAssist with RFIs, submittals, and constructability reviews as neededSupport commissioning, inspections, project closeout, and turnover activitiesComplete accurate daily reports including manpower tracking and photo documentationCoordinate material deliveries, site inventory, and logistics to prevent delaysMaintain organized project documentation through project closeoutUtilize construction management software and field technology tools for scheduling, reporting, and documentationEssential SkillsMinimum of 5 years of experience in a Superintendent or similar field leadership roleExperience managing commercial or large-scale construction projectsStrong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsSolid understanding of construction sequencing, means, and methodsProven ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage multi-trade environmentsKnowledge of jobsite safety standards and OSHA requirementsExperience with construction schedules and progress trackingProficiency using construction management or field reporting softwareAdditional Skills And QualificationsExperience with field management platforms such as Procore or equivalent systemsFamiliarity with digital drawing review and markup tools such as BluebeamExperience using scheduling software such as MS Project or similarStrong communication skills for interacting with project teams, subcontractors, and inspectorsAbility to maintain detailed reports, documentation, and safety recordsOrganized, detail-oriented approach to site operations and logisticsLeadership style that emphasizes safety, accountability, teamwork, and qualityWork EnvironmentThis is a field-based position requiring regular on-site presence. The Superintendent typically works on one primary project site and may occasionally support additional nearby sites as needed. The work environment includes active construction sites with varying conditions and demands.
