Network Engineer

Location Milpitas, CA Responsibilities Design, build, configuration, and provisioning of global infrastructure that supports Yaana services Excellent troubleshooting skills including network layer interaction with all other infrastructure layers Network monitoring implementation and enhancement experience Rapid triage and troubleshooting of network issues to maintain SLA Provide daily support by following Change Request processes Maintain technical documentation on installation and configuration procedures Interfacing with network device vendors for issue resolution or support activities 24×7 operations support and continuous monitoring of health of the network Familiarity with OS systems administration (Linux / Windows) Automation / scripting skills Experience working in datacenter colocation environment Requirements 5+ years of expertise in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including: firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points and monitoring applications. Good understanding of all routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, etc.) Good understanding of all layer2 protocols (STP, VLAN, LACP, etc.) Hands-on technical experience working with VPN technologies (IPSEC, SSL VPN, AnyConnect, DMVPN, etc.) Maintain network security through proper configuration of VPN and Firewalls BS degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent technical subject matter Outstanding communications skills and ability to work in fast paced agile environment requiring accuracy and multitasking Ability to work during extended hours when required Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell.
