Job DescriptionJob Title: Program ManagerWork site: Vienna, IL or Cairo, IL. Location is dependent on office space availability.Area of Focus: Community Collaboration - Prevention & Advocacy ServicesProgram(s): STOP School Violence - Focuses on preventing and reducing school violence through education, crisis intervention, and community collaboration.Program Manager Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field (required). Master’s degree (preferred).Immediate Supervisor: Sr. Program DirectorHours of Work: Full-time 40 hours per weekProgram Manager Experience & Credential Requirements: At least five years of experience in service-related fields (preferred); grant administration experience (preferred); previous supervision of staff (preferred).Program Manager Special Requirements: Travels to off-site/community-based locations for direct service delivery; participates in after-hours crisis response rotation; ability to schedule evening appointments; maintains and provides proof of a valid driver's license; maintains and provides proof of personal vehicle liability insurance; at least 21 years of age; must complete required registry clearances and criminal fingerprint background checks; maintain First Aid and CPR Certification.Program Manager Skills & Knowledge: Excellent communication, data tracking, and writing skills; ability to teach and engage with youth in a classroom or small group setting; proficient in crisis intervention techniques and resource coordination; excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; strong presentation and interpersonal skills; experience in community advocacy and social services, ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently; strong in data collection and leadership skills.Program Manager Job duties include, but are not limited to:Provide day-to-day oversight of the grant and ensure the successful execution of project activities. Ensure compliance with grant requirements and timelines. Oversee the implementation of all project activities. Supervise the Outreach Specialist and Community Advocate roles. Support staff development and ensure high-quality service delivery. Facilitate internal and external coordination with schools, community organizations, and stakeholders. Obtain necessary approvals for program materials and initiatives. Conduct regular team and stakeholder meetings. Navigate and utilize multiple databases and website management systems for program tracking and reporting. Maintain accurate records of program activities and outcomes. Develop and deliver presentations on program goals and achievements. Communicate effectively with staff, partners, and community stakeholders. Travel to schools and community sites within the program's project area as needed. Office-based at JCO or ACO, with frequent travel to schools within Alexander, Pulaski, and Johnson Counties. This is a management position.
