Business Intelligence Analyst
ONLY local candidates residing in the Houston, Texas area will be considered.ONLY U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders will be considered.The Business Intelligence Analyst will support Logistics Business Improvement initiatives by serving as the Data Analytics Subject Matter Expert (SME). This role is responsible for developing analytics and reporting solutions that improve visibility into transportation costs, supply chain performance, and operational efficiency.The ideal candidate will build and enhance Power BI dashboards that provide real-time, actionable insights across multiple projects and business workstreams. This position partners with cross-functional teams to standardize reporting processes, develop KPI frameworks, support SAP system improvements, and deliver data-driven recommendations that support strategic decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Power BI dashboards, KPI reporting, and analytics toolsAnalyze transportation and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunitiesPerform root cause analysis and execute exception reportingSupport logistics transparency and business improvement initiativesCollaborate with IT and business stakeholders to enhance SAP and reporting functionalityGenerate performance metrics, benchmarking, and operational reportingPromote best practices in data management, reporting accuracy, and process optimizationCommunicate insights and project updates to leadership and stakeholdersBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, MIS, Business, or related fieldWorking knowledge of SAPAdvanced proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with SQL Server, DAX, Power Query, Alteryx, and TableauStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentPreferred QualificationsAdvanced degree in Analytics, Data Science, or related field2+ years of experience in Procurement, Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain supportExperience with SAP SD module and SAP S/4 HANAOil & gas logistics or transportation industry experience preferred
