Founded by industry insiders, each with 10+ years in utilities and civil engineering, we move fast, ship work that matters, and stay close to the customers and field teams we build for.WHY THIS ROLEAs CivilGrid's Founding Sales Operations Specialist, you'll be the architect of our revenue engine during a critical growth phase. This is a rare opportunity to join a well-funded, fast-growing company with exceptional product-market fit and blue-chip customers. You'll work as a generalist across sales, marketing, finance and customer success to create the systems, processes, and infrastructure that enable scalable growth.You'll own the full revenue operations function, from fixing the foundation to building the systems that scales. The ideal candidate is equal parts analytical and technical, someone who can define the data model, automate the outbound motion, and connect the tools that make the GTM org run, all while staying close enough to the AE team to make sure what gets built actually gets used.This role reports to our Head of Sales and will be based from our San Francisco HQ.What You'll DoSet the strategy and drive the execution across revenue operations, from inception to completion, without waiting to be told what to doOwn the v1 revenue stack: fix Salesforce, bring in a marketing solution, and make sure the full tech stack (HubSpot, Outreach/Salesloft, Clay/Apollo/ZoomInfo, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) is connected and running cleanlyAutomate AE outbound, both cold and field, and build the systems that make the motion repeatableDefine full-funnel analytics end to end and build the reporting infrastructure that gives leadership clear visibility into what's workingDefine the data model, build the workflows, and surface insights that help the GTM org move fasterTranslate what you build into execution for the AE team through SOPs, hands-on training, and making sure what gets built actually gets useWhat You'll Bring4+ years in revenue operations, sales operations, or GTM operations at a high-growth (ideally B2B SaaS) startupStrong understanding of revenue operations best practices and how to adapt them to early-stage environmentsData-driven decision maker with strong analytical skills and comfort working with metrics, forecasts, and business casesSelf-starter mentality with the ability to build from zero—you're equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves and thinking strategicallyExceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneouslyTeam player who thrives on solving problems for others and enabling GTM teams to winExperience with modern SaaS tech stacks (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach/Salesloft, Clay/Apollo/ZoomInfo, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)Curiosity and hunger to learn—you're excited about startups, growth, and the opportunity to wear multiple hatsBONUS POINTSPrior experience in sales, customer success, or construction/infrastructure industriesSQL & APEX proficiencyHow We WorkWe're a small, but rapidly growing team that ships. We hire people who care deeply about their craft and the communities our customers serve.Compensation & BenefitsThe base salary range for this role is $155,000 - $170,100.Base salary is only one part of your total compensation package at CivilGrid, which also includes meaningful early-stage equity, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to shape a category-defining company.
