Construction Project Manager

Role OverviewThe Project Manager is responsible for delivering projects on time and within budget while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. This role leads project execution from pre-construction through closeout, coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-ConstructionReview plans, specifications, and drawings to identify constructability issues and manage RFIsCoordinate with field leadership to verify existing conditionsLead internal project kickoff meetings and develop buyout strategiesPrepare and issue complete subcontractor bid and contract packagesCoordinate submittals and decisions with owners and design teamsDevelop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with field staffSupport estimating efforts and assist with pricing as neededEstablish project budgets and cost coding structuresSupport contract review and logistics planningObtain required permits and approvalsConstruction OperationsCollaborate closely with on-site field leadershipMonitor project financials, including cost-to-complete, cash flow, and change managementManage billing, requisitions, and payment follow-upLead project meetings and distribute meeting documentationExecute subcontractor buyouts and material procurementOversee submittals, RFIs, and project documentationPromote and enforce a safe work environmentResolve schedule and coordination issues and escalate as neededMaintain strong working relationships with owners, architects, and engineersCloseoutCoordinate punch list completion and final inspectionsEnsure project documentation is complete and organizedObtain certificates of completion and occupancyCompile and deliver operations and maintenance manualsCommunicationParticipate in internal project meetings throughout all phasesLead regular coordination meetings with owners and subcontractorsQualificationsMinimum 5 years of construction industry experience, including project managementProven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and financial controlsStrong ability to read and interpret construction documentsProficiency with construction management software and scheduling toolsOSHA 30 certificationExcellent organizational and multitasking skillsWork Environment & Physical RequirementsOffice-based work with regular job site visitsAbility to sit, stand, walk, and use standard office equipmentVisual acuity for reviewing documents and site conditions
