Job Title:RN-Diagnostic CardiologyLocation: Detroit, MI (On Site)Duration: 13 weeksShift Hours: 07:30-1600 or 08:00-1630Required Skills & Experience:" Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience with strong ability to interpret cardiac rhythms" Experience performing cardiac stress tests in a Cardio Non-invasive lab" BLS & ACLS certifications required" Current active Michigan RN license requiredJob Description:Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care within the diagnostic cardiology unit. Utilizes the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Performs and monitors cardiac stress tests in a non-invasive cardiology lab, ensuring patient safety and accurate data collection. Interprets cardiac rhythms (EKG/ECG) and reports abnormalities to the healthcare team. Delegates and supervises patient care activities while maintaining accountability for outcomes. Educates patients and families regarding procedures, care plans, and follow-up instructions. Communicates effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. Identifies variances from patient goals and participates in developing and implementing corrective solutions. Maintains accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical standards. Adapts to scheduling needs, as block scheduling is not guaranteed, while supporting unit workflow and patient care demands.Preferred Skills & Experience:" Preferred: Experience with cardiac diagnostic testing" Ability to complete 4 8 stress tests per shift" Strong clinical knowledge and analytical skills to develop effective nursing care plans" Ability to perform a wide range of professional nursing services" Strong communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
