Litigation and Collections Counsel

Job DescriptionPosition Overview: NewCo Capital Group is seeking a full-time Litigation and Collections Counsel to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in handling legal matters, litigation, collections and judgment enforcement, as well as some general corporate work.  Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent NewCo Capital in a variety of litigation matters, including collection cases, contract disputes, regulatory issues, and other legal proceedings. Oversee judgment enforcement procedures, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Manage an active caseload of contested and uncontested matters.Implement strategies in furtherance of collections and recoveries. Collaborate with external counselStay up-to-date on relevant legal developments, including fintech and financial services regulations, and communicate their implications to the leadership team. QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the New York bar.4+ years of both collections and litigation experience.Strong legal research and analytical skills.Strong legal writing skills and extensive experience with motion practice, court appearances, discovery, and case management. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.The opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative fintech environment.Career growth and development opportunities.A collaborative and dynamic work culture.If you are a motivated legal professional looking to contribute to the success of a growing fintech company while gaining valuable experience, we encourage you to apply for this position.Job Type: Full-time, On-SiteTotal Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on relevant experience.Benefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule: Monday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate: New York, NY 10004.
