Material CoordinatorBDR Solutions, LLC, (BDR) supports the U.S. Federal Government in successfully achieving its mission and goals. BDR is seeking a Material Coordinator to join our growing team! This position will be on-site in Hines, IL. This position requires US Citizenship with a Public Trust or the ability to obtain one. (Military Veterans and HUBZone residents are highly encouraged to apply) Role Overview As the Material Coordinator, you will perform a range of warehouse and logistics tasks including inventory control, order fulfillment, equipment operation, and driving duties to support deliveries and material transfers. This role requires hands-on inventory management and interaction with various internal and external stakeholders. ResponsibilitiesPerform a range of warehouse functions including:Inventory managementOrder picking and packingAssisting with shipping, receiving, and transfersSupporting efficient utilization of space and material resourcesTracking inventory in the VA's Inventory Management System (IMS)Conducting regular inventories, audits, and cycle countsInvestigating inventory discrepancies and reporting findingsOperating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacksDrive BDR provided vehicles to transport IT assets or materials between locationsLoad and unload materials for delivery or transferEnsure vehicle safety inspections and logs are completed prior to and after each tripCommunicate effectively with warehouse staff, IT personnel, and VA stakeholders to ensure smooth asset movement and inventory accuracyPhysical & Environmental RequirementsMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularlyFrequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shiftAbility to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including exposure to varying temperaturesMust be able to sit for extended periods while operating a vehicleRequired Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operationsValid driver's license with clean driving recordBasic math and organizational skillsStrong attention to detailDesired Skills and QualificationsPrior experience supporting government contractsValid Forklift Operator Certification recognized in the stateExperience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs or similar federal agenciesEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre?employment drug test. This position is also subject to the company's random drug testing policy. In addition, U.S Citizenship is required. Select applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be able to obtain a government-granted security clearance.
