Plate Mounter - Second Shift

Job description Plate Mounter: Lithotype Company, a 100% Employee-Owned flexible packaging company in Bolingbrook, IL, is seeking a Plate Mounter for second shift 2:00pm x 10:30PM to become an integral part of their team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Mounts press plates for existing and upcoming production orders. Manages the schedule for plate mounting to make sure everything is prepared. Remount any plates that are on sleeves to insure sticky back is good and plates will have no plate lifts. Manages plate inventory Maintains cylinders/bearings inventory. Makes sure that all information on job docket is correctly filled in. Assures that all necessary materials are in place to put job in production. Checks the condition of the plates. Clean and inspect plates. Put plates in storage. Properly file folders with control sheets and the plates.. Notify Plant Manager if any plates need to be replaced. Maintains sleeve and sticky back inventory. Maintain plate listing excel spreadsheet as needed. Enter all new and updated plates. Looks for efficiencies and areas for improvement. Performs other duties as assigned.
