If you are interested in learning more about Centil or our team, check out our website at www.centil.io.About The RoleThis opening is for a Software Test Engineer to support the design, development and execution of test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. This position will work closely with other engineers and program leadership to support the overall goals and objectives of the program.What You'll DoDevelop and implement new automated test framework and scripts for integration testingDesign and execute new automated functional tests to be performed at subsystem and system levels for baseline releases and requirements sell offIntegrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipelineIdentify and troubleshoot test failures in the pipeline and collaborate with product teams to resolve for integrationCollaborate with development product teams to understand requirements and design automated test casesDocument test procedures, results and findingsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or related experienceFamiliarity with various software testing methodologies such as unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testingHands-on experience using automated testing tools to write and execute test scripts (e.g., Cucumber, Selenium)Skilled in using Atlassian tools to support the software development lifecycle (e.g., Jira, Confluence)Familiar with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab or JenkinsExperience with Docker and KubernetesDoD Secret or higher clearanceOther Company RequirementsIn addition to job-specific requirements, Centil believes it is important for all employees to possess the following skills/characteristics:Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical personnelSelf-motivated individual who actively and independently seeks out opportunities for learning and developmentCollaborates well; enjoys working as part of a teamExpected Salary RangeDepending on experience and skillset, most candidates will earn between $100,000 and $140,000 per year.Please note that the salary range is a general guideline only.
