Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you’ll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll DoAssign work orders,monitorprogress, and ensuretimelyand effective completion of maintenance tasksDevelop, oversee, and optimize preventative and predictive maintenance schedulesLead response to critical equipment failures, ensuring rapid diagnosis, coordination, and repairMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, downtime, and equipment performanceMentor and train maintenance team members while fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvementParticipate in CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety CulturePerform additional duties as assignedWhat You'll NeedProven leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and guide team membersAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manualsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in environments with extreme temperatures, chemicals, dust, fumes, mists, loud noise, uneven surfaces, elevated work areas, and confined spacesStrong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical equipment, with familiarity in PLCs, automation systems, and industrial controlsMinimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in steel or heavy manufacturingYour EducationHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
