Job Brief.Our team is looking for an experienced Superintendent to coordinate and manage on-site activities of our construction projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. As the "Face" of MEB on the project site, you will ensure delivery of successful projects to owners, in the safest manner possible, on time and on budget with the desired level of quality. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you'll collaborate with various project stakeholders, including Project Superintendents, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foreman, and Field Personnel. To succeed, you must ensure MEB's core values are being lived on the project every day and that quality, health, and safety standards onsite are your top priority.If you are organized, able to work well under pressure and have experience in this field, we'd like to meet you!Core Areas of Responsibility.Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needsSet performance goals and deadlinesPlan construction processesEstimate costs and ensure the project is on budgetSupervise staff and provide constructive feedbackMonitor and report on project progressPlan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authoritiesImplement safety and quality guidelinesOrder the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenanceKeep track of material stock and ordersEnsure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderlyResolve on-site issues and emergenciesEnsure the overall safe production of the jobsite for MEB employees, subcontract personnel, visitors and the public as well as identify and/or correct non-compliant safety, health or environmental requirements, conditions, or behaviors.Skills You Possess.Previous experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar roleTechnical knowledge associated with aboveground and underground piping systems, cast-in-place concrete, process/industrial equipment, sitework, and other miscellaneous building features.Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sitesIn-depth understanding of construction operations and processesProficiency in MS OfficeOrganizational and time-management skillsAbility to lead and inspireEqual Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.View Company InformationTo see other positions, click here.
