Janitorial Quality Assurance Manager

At City Wide, you will find a high-energy team atmosphere driven to perform in a collaborative, inclusive and fun environment.Essential FunctionsDevelop and maintain productive, working relationships with Independent Contractors (IC) by communicating client priorities and collaborating on solving problemsReview scope of work and ensure quality assurance per account to retain existing business and gain new businessCommunicate with your Manager daily for any issues that need immediate attention, including the nightly recapMake recommendations for IC work assignments, manage to client standards and company guidelines and recommend actionsManage inspections, customer complaints or requests, new account starts-restartsExecute City Wide's New-Start Policy, Customer Compliant Policy, Four Star Policy, and other policies and proceduresEnsure compliance by ICs with authorized, approved cleaning tools and equipment and their proper useOther duties as necessaryRequirementsHigh school diploma required or equivalent experience in commercial janitorial services industry. 2-3 years prior experience in management; coaching, motivating, developing other individualsBuilding, facilities, janitorial or similar industry experience a plus!Strong planning, organization skills, and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust be innovative and strive for continuous process improvementBilingual capability would be a plusThis role is Monday-Friday, 5pm-1am and will require travel in the counties of Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Howard, Harford, Carroll and Baltimore City. Qualified applicants must have reliable transportation and provide proof of continuing vehicle insurancePhysical DemandsThe physical demands are representative of requirements that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Constant sitting, bending, standing, and walking.
