They need to be willing to relocate within a month of start date, can start remote.Looking for resources who can convert.Must haves: Teradata, Systems admin.Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior Teradata Database Administrator to join our team at a large bank. As a Senior Teradata DBA, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the bank's Teradata databases. You will be working closely with developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that the databases meet the bank's requirements for security, availability, and performance. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues, as well as managing backups, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain the bank's Teradata databasesDevelop and implement database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processesOptimize database performance and ensure that the databases meet the bank's requirements for security, availability, and scalabilityCollaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure that the databases meet the bank's requirementsTroubleshoot and resolve database-related issuesDevelop and maintain database documentation and proceduresParticipate in database capacity planning and forecastingKeep up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trendsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldAt least 8 years of experience as a Teradata DBA in a large-scale environmentStrong knowledge of Teradata architecture and utilitiesExperience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processesExperience with database performance tuning and optimizationStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of banking industry regulations and compliance standards is a plusTeradata Certified Master is a plus
