Accounting Analyst II

Accounting Analyst II Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour Long Term Temporary Assignment (4 months, could go longer) Working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a one-hour lunch. Starting May 25th through August 10th the summer working hours will be Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch. We are in search of a full-time temporary Analyst II Accounting position. The qualifications include: Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting concepts Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications used to create and access data, maintain records, and generate reports Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to be flexible and adjust to changing needs Ability to recommend and influence best practice solutions when it comes to business process improvement Ability to effectively analyze, troubleshoot and solve problems Bachelors degree and at least 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred qualification experience using PeopleSoft Preferred qualification experience in Higher Education
