Chief Financial OfficerAnniston, Alabama$125,000-$140,000A growing organization is seeking an experienced and highly hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its accounting and financial operations. This position requires a proactive leader capable of managing the full accounting function while partnering closely with executive leadership. The role is critical to ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the entire accounting function, including a team of six accounting professionalsSupervise daily accounting operations performed by internal staff, including a bookkeeperPrepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and timelinessCollaborate closely with executive leadership on treasury management and financial strategySupport operational decision-making by providing financial insights and analysisEnsure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, policies, and regulationsCoordinate with external accounting partners during tax preparation and filing periodsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and internal controlsMaintain a hands-on approach to all aspects of accounting and finance as neededRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of two years experience in a Manufacturing environmentSignificant experience in a senior-level accounting or financial leadership roleStrong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger management, and accounting operationsDemonstrated leadership experience managing accounting teamsAbility to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departmentsPreferred Qualifications:CPA or advanced financial certificationExperience working closely with executive leadership in a small to mid-sized organizationBackground in managing treasury functions and operational financeWork Environment & Schedule:On-site position in Anniston, AlabamaMonday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PMRooted in Birmingham.
