Oracle Apps DBAWe're looking for a mid to senior level Oracle Apps DBA with MSSQL experience to own day-to-day database operations, performance tuning, high availability, and security across our Oracle, EBS and SQL Server environments. You'll collaborate closely with application teams, DevOps, and InfoSec to ensure our data platforms are reliable, performant, and scalable.What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)Administration & Operations Install, configure, patch and maintain Oracle EBS installationsParticipate in database and EBS upgradesMigrate databases and EBS installations from on-prem to cloudConfiguration of TLS/SSL protocol for EBS 12.1.3 and 12.2.x environmentsPerformance & Optimization Monitor and tune performance of databases (indexes, stats, query plans, I/O, memory, CPU).Tune EBS environments to improve performanceConduct root cause analyses and implement permanent fixes.Backup, Recovery & HA/DR+ Design and maintain backup/restore strategies (native backups, compression, encryption).Implement and support backup strategies for core database and EBSTest and document disaster recovery procedures with defined RPO/RTOParticipate in DR exercises for EBS and databaseAutomation & Observability Automate routine tasks with PowerShell, Bash,and scripts.Maintain monitoring and alerting for capacity, performance, and availability.Produce runbooks, documentation, and knowledge base articles.Data Governance & Compliance Implement encryption at rest/in transit, data masking, and retention policies.Support audits and compliance (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, PCI) where applicable.Qualifications (Required)4-7 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Apps DBA in production environments.Sound knowledge of Oracle EBS 12.2 Architecture, online patching tool ADOP and changes between 12.1.3 and 12.2.xExperience in Oracle WebLogic Admin/managed sever memory configuration and tuningExperience in Oracle WebLogic and EBS 12.2 ADOP patching techniquesExperience working with Oracle cloud infrastructure virtual private networks, compute services, block storage and object storage servicesExperience in Deploying multiple applications on WebLogic server and maintained load balancing, high availability and fail over functionalityExperience working with Oracle/AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure Virtual machine database systemsExperience in Oracle cloud infrastructure Virtual machine EBS database systems for 11g/12c/19cProficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking basics (DNS, TCP/IP).Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (native + third-party).Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.Nice-to-Have (Preferred)Experience with/exposure to Oracle Dataguard, Oracle Goldengate, Engineered SystemsExperience with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS (or modern equivalents).MSSQL database administrationKnowledge of ETL/ELT patterns, data warehousing, or BI tooling.Experience with DevOps/CI-CD for databases (Git, pipelines, Redgate, SSDT).Scripting in Python or Bash, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/ARM).Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, DP-300, or MCSA/MCSE (legacy).Education• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.Work Eligibility• Must be authorized to work in the United States (Permanent Resident/US Citizen) and participate in shift rotation
